Abstract
This is a continuation of Case (A). The regional society had prepared a plan for solving many of the problems facing the fisherman. The society had plans for introducing fifty mechanized boats and the linkage of production with storage, processing, and marketing. The plan had also envisaged export of prawns, setting up of a workshop, and supply of spare parts. Cost analysis of each of the activities for economic viability is discussed. Some of the investment criteria like present value analysis, internal rate of return, payback period, and cost-benefit ratio are highlighted.
