Abstract
This case deals with the problems faced by a large hospital in developing a Hospital Information System. The case looks at the overall working of the hospital, the existing nature of computer applications, future plans for computerization and the hospital's willingness and preparedness to design and develop a comprehensive information system. The case focuses on identifying hospital performance indicators, their estimation and the design of reports to help the hospital management deliver their services efficiently and effectively.
