Abstract
In 1972, the manager, in charge of training, had to prepare a perspective plan for training for the period 1973-75, to be submitted for the Board's approval. The priorities required to be kept in view while planning and implementing the training activities, and the specific recommendations to be made for overcoming various problems being faced in the training function, had to be determined on the basis of problem areas identified in the case.
