Abstract
The case deals with the source of supply of labour and the recruitment procedures of a rapidly expanding organization. The case covers the change from an informal to a more formal and objective selection system. Consequent to this change, the main source of new hiring became more broad based, to tap a wider cross- section of the unemployed in the area. The case also covers the effect of this change.
