Abstract
This case primarily concerns itself with a collective bargaining situation where the management arrives at an agreement with the union on several issues raised in its charter of demands. A set of data on the company's capacity to pay, comparable wage rates, distribution of employees, etc, are provided for decision making. The case can be run as an exercise in the classroom, extending over several sessions. The actual settlement arrived at can be discussed at the end of the exercise to show the realistic nature of the agreement reached in the classroom.
