Abstract
The case deals with the high non-interest costs of borrowing from institutional sources. It contains five loan cases obtained from different agencies involving varying costs on different aspects of borrowing. The idea is to get a comprehensive understanding of borrowing costs in the Indian rural environment and how these could be detrimental to the cause of lending agencies.
