Abstract
The case writer has narrated two f his experiences as a change agent in a large corporation. One situation pertains to a technological change whereas the other refers to an organizational restructuring. The case compares the two situations, and highlights the issues of bringing about change in a turbulent environment, and the role of the change agent vis-α-vis the people affected by such change. It also brings out the inhibitors and facilitators for change in each situation.
