Abstract
Describes the problem of traffic congestion at a busy crossing in Ahmedabad. Data has been provided on the pattern of arrival of different modes of transport from different directions at the square. Issues arising out of heterogeneity in modes of transportation are raised and alternative ways of resolving this problem are discussed. The reader has to construct a computer simulation model of the traffic problem.
