Abstract
The case traces the adoption of analytics by Titan, a legacy company. The challenges faced during the digitisation journey are highlighted through the perspective of the central protagonist, Rohan Solanki, the Head of Analytics. Established in 1987, Titan operated in three major divisions: Jewellery, Watches and Eyewear as of November 2022. In 2010, the company decided to delve into analytics. However, it encountered multiple challenges ranging from issues with the collection of data to issues with the operation and creation of an analytics organisation. As the organisation was extremely successful, it faced the key challenge of having to convince various stakeholders to accept the new way of adapting to a data-driven world.
