Abstract
The case exhibits the role of a manager in making the dairy viable through phased programme. It involves an integrated approach on managerial functions for production enhancement, procurement, processing (including product mix considerations) and distribution. It highlights the points on 1) planning, implementation and control of the different actions to be taken and 2) desirable marketing policy and objectives for the concerned dairy.
