Abstract
The note discusses the growth and development of fertilizer industry in India and the problem areas faced by the industry. It also outline the programs of expansion of fertilizers included in the discussion are some of the major conclusions of the fertilizers committee report of 1965-66. The student were asked to identify the main problems of the fertilizer industry in the wider context of industrial and economic development in India.
