Abstract
Fertilizer. She is currently planning a critical shutdown in the nitric acid plant. The plant would incur a penalty anywhere between ₹10 to ₹15 lakh per hour for delays. Akshara should use the critical path method (CPM) in scheduling tasks and identify the critical path to decrease the overall time required for these tasks and prevent penalty payments. Each activity involves trade-offs in cost and time involved. Her success in this project is crucial for career advancement.
