Abstract
The concept of leadership is the relationship between an individual and a group. The note discusses the three significant styles of leadership and the emergent behaviour of the group: a) the authoritarian leadership, b) the democratic leadership, and c) the Laissez?faire leadership. Depending upon the individuals, tasks and situations, different people feel comfortable in accepting different styles of leadership.
