Abstract
A nationalized bank with a history of slow growth plans for a "big leap forward". The development plans can be examined in relation to the nature of existing manpower, the structure of union-management relations, the existing organization structure, and the economic realities of the total organization and its various segments. The case also helps in formulating management strategies for a developing bank, especially in manpower planning, management controls, and economics of banking.
