Abstract
The case traces the journey of Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd (SRK) as it transformed its facilities—SRK Empire and SRK House—into world-class LEED Platinum-certified green buildings, and the organisation’s subsequent progression towards achieving Net-Zero energy and emission status. Through cost–benefit analysis, the case reveals how investments in renewable energy, energy-efficient systems and sustainable operations not only yielded environmental and social benefits but also delivered measurable financial returns. It also explores SRK’s philosophy of considering sustainability as a value-driven business practice rather than a compliance exercise, demonstrating how strategic financial planning, long-term investments and operational excellence contribute to brand equity, employee well-being and global recognition.
