Abstract
The case describes the evolution and progress of the project based method (PBM) of teaching at Smt. Sulochana Devi Singhania School, an Indian Council for Secondary Education School, in grades I to IV over a 15 year period. It delineates the roles played by Mr. Rasikbhai, educational advisor to the school, and successive principals and teachers of the school in the primary section in conceptualizing and implementing PBM as an integrated, participative and child centric approach to learning. Rasikbhai and Mrs. Revathy Srinivasan, the current principal of the school, are required to review the progress of the method so far and decide whether it should be implemented in grade V and beyond.
