Abstract
Deals with the simulation of queuing systems and its importance in different areas such as ships requiring unloading facilities at ports, aircraft awaiting a clear runway in order to take off, etc. It also briefly discusses the three methods?experimentation with the real system, analytical methods, and simulation?available for analyzing queuing systems, besides giving a brief outline of the methodology for simulation.
