Abstract
The case profiles a school set up by Param Pujya Sadguru Shree Bhaktijeevandasji Swami of Swaminarayan Gurukul at Hariyala, Kheda District, Gujarat. The school was set up in 1990 with a commitment to admit children who are perceived weak in studies, have dropped out of a school or termed toofany (naughty or mischievous). In 2014, the school had 344 children and 17 teachers on its role, with the status of being a government aided school. The school imparted education from primary to standard 10th. As the school is about to complete its 25 years of existence, Swamiji is reflecting about the achievements and challeges in the years which have gone by, and contemplating about the future.
