Abstract
STFC started with the noble cause of providing employment opportunities to poor rural women by engaging them in their traditional skill based artisan work. They have achieved a turnover of Rs. 5 crores and are now examining various options and associated challenges for further growth in the very competitive and complex fashion goods industry.
