Abstract

This note discusses several selection methods used by organizations for selecting personnel. The discussion has covered such tools for selection as application blanks, interviews, physical examination, business games, and leaderless group discussion. Psychological tests have not been covered because a detailed discussion on them is available elsewhere. An effort has been made to highlight some of the legal and ethical issues attached to the selection techniques discussed here.
