Abstract
The case is mainly a transport problem. There are three factories delivering three product groups to twenty- three warehouses. The solution calls for an optimization of total costs for the company, taking into account the production constraints at each factory, the local demand, and the export needs. The data problems and linkages with production/manufacturing policies can also be illustrated.
