Abstract
The case traces the evolution of a rural health project in a backward district. It describes the reasons for the project team's work in this field and identifies its activities and their interrelationships. Managerial responses in terms of charges that have taken place in the project over time are presented. An attempt is made to highlight the elements of management of an organization involved in community-based social services.
