Abstract
The case throws light on how bottom-up, decentralized, and autonomous approach can be helpful in the promotion of loan services. The case discusses how one of the managers identified the need of farmers and tried to develop a suitable product. However, the case also highlights the problems faced in implementation of the scheme with a view to providing some additional insights into management of innovations in rural credit.
