Abstract
Describes ways means of minimization of cost of fat testing at every procurement centre of a dairy. Different alternative systems of fat testing and their adoption by the village procurement centres are viewed from the point of view of cost minimization, rate of adoption, and practical difficulties to be faced by the planners and executors who wish to bring about the change.
