Abstract
Deals with the functioning of integrated cooperative structure in a geographical area, and explores the possibility of replicability of the experiences in another area under the cooperative framework. The case also examines the role that Samakya, a rural development agency, can play in promoting vertical integration in paddy processing and producing a higher share to the producers.
