Abstract
Healthcare is an obligation of any government. Scaling up of financial resources and overcoming the non-financial barriers in the delivery of public health services are the critical managerial challenges faced by the governments in developing nations. Public health is not getting the attention it deserves in many developing countries. Public health managerial challenges include an assessment of the community needs for services, design and implement an effective health communication module to create awareness and bring behaviour changes in the community for a healthy living, and managing the logistics in health service delivery.
