Abstract
This case-cu-note describes the problems in the pricing of ethical drugs. Participants are expected to evaluate the practices used by large pharmaceutical companies in pricing their products. The differences in pricing practices of multinational, and large and small Indian companies are highlighted. How brand preference gives a company power to compete on a nonprice basis is indicated.
