Abstract
The case presents the marketing operations in a medium sized power pump company that has become very strong in certain marketing segments. But the company intends exploiting new marketing opportunities, particularly in agriculture. The company has a fairly traditional marketing setup and requires a total reorientation of its operations. Issues of distribution, advertising, pricing, product policy and servicing are covered, and a new marketing plan has to be developed.
