Abstract
This case deals with the storage operation of milled rice in the monopsony procurement, processing, and distribution situation of the Paddy Marketing Board in Sri Lanka. The chairman has to decide whether he should go in for modern storage systems of silos or make do with the existing storage with minor modifications.
