Abstract
This note suggest why a change agent needs to develope a political model of organizational functioning and how he can go about it. The process of emergence and change in social structures in the organization, interest articulation at individual and group level, decision making to resolve conflicting demands, implementation of choice and handling feedback are coming out of implementation are suggested as central such a model. It is argued that viewing organization as political systems can help a change agent to stage organizational events move effectively.
