Abstract
Part I discusses the following topics: value analysis in perspective, product selection and information collection, the definition of functions, and function cost matrix. Part II discusses the following three cases: 1) Dunlopillo Mattress, 2) Export Sales Office, and 3) Conventary Climax Engines Ltd. In these notes an effort is made to illustrate how various concepts and elements of value analysis can be put into practice.
