Abstract
Discusses the problem of improving the pricing system for movies to be tackled by the cultural committee of the National Institute of communication Mahmedabad, The committee's basic objective in to provide best possible programmers to the institute's community. Therefore, the pricing system is to be decided from different alternatives in such a way that it is best preferred by the community as long as it does not involve losses to the committee. The case can be used to demonstrate the application of revealed preference theory in teaching consumers demand .The committee described in the case can be extend to mean any service organization or company in public sector where emphasis is benefiting the consumers
