Abstract
Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute is facing financial constraints due to increased cost of medical care and a freeze on the grant it receives from the state government. It is, therefore, necessary to look at avenues for containing the cost of medical care. Accordingly the proposed study would anlayse variable costs towards hospital supplies and suggests possible savings.
