This case discusses the working of an integrated dairy cooperative in general and its working capital structure, management of working capital, and its implications for external finance in particular. The discussion is organized as follows: (a) the cooperative union's organizational structure; (b) working capital management performance. Criteria to evaluate the performance of working capital management include efficiency of working capital use, efficiency of liquidity management, and different stages of the operating cycle.
