Abstract
This case is on one of the aspects of functional management in dairying organisations viz. procurement of milk. An example of an inaccessible village is given with suggestions on alternatives for transportation of milk. Opportunity gain for the village as a whole through sale of milk to the organized dairy can be worked out from the data given in the case.
