Abstract
This is a note dealing with the interaction between man and machine in a man?machine system. The productivity of such a system is primarily determined by the time required to complete a full cycle of operations. In order to improve the productivity of such a system, recording the cycle of operations on a man?machine chart is very helpful. With the aid of the chart, various alternative combinations of man and machines can be evolved and evaluated for maximum productivity.
