Abstract
Describes the budget formulation and settlement process arising out of the consultants' recommendations for providing the required linkage between the corporate management's expectations and the potential and opportunities perceived by the operating and executive managements. The nature of participation and involvement of all levels of management from corporate management to sales managers and section heads in the process of budget formulation is specified. Doubts are raised regarding the feasibility of implementation of the suggested system.
