Abstract
This case pertains to project implementation and is a continuation of Kerala Agricultural Project (B) (CMA0539). It deals with the problems of implementation after mid-term appraisal. The Director of the Special Agricultural Development Unit is faced with the problem of assessing the impact on profitabilities of the project due to changes which occurred during implementation. The case also deals with certain strategies which were adopted to overcome the difficulties of implementation. Questions are raised as to whether the strategies were developed on the basis of objective analysis. The major issue is the change in the original targets in light of the experience gained, and what kinds of lessons one could learn from this experience of project implementation.
