Abstract
This case describes a series of minor and major acts of indiscipline committed by an employee of a large public sector organization over a period of fourteen years; records the action taken by the management on various occasions; describes the intention of the management to deal with the employee's conduct firmly according to rules; and gives students some experience in relating organizational rules to concrete action taking place within an organization.
