Abstract

The forms of parliamentary control are discussed in this note. It lists the various channels through which Parliament exercises its control. The effectiveness of various channels, including the Committee on Public Undertakings, is brought out. The discussion of parliamentary control is in the context of the autonomy and accountability of the public undertakings.
