This note deals with the important aspects of integrated maintenance management. Issues discussed relates to: 1) for management: role and organizational structure; 2) for/in maintenance: strategy formulation and action plan; 3) planning, allocation, scheduling and control of resources; 4) design and implementation of information system; 5) inspection and test procedures; 6) control of cost; and 7) policies for procurement and control of spares.
