Abstract
This case encompasses the development of a much-needed innovation in the field of medical oxygen producing equipment, i.e. oxygen concentrators. Pained by the predicament of Indian citizens due to medical oxygen shortage due to the Covid-19 crisis, Rahul Mehra, a student and technology enthusiast, came up with a patentable design concept for a perpetually running oxygen concentrator, for uninterrupted oxygen supply to those in need of constant oxygen support. The case focuses on various aspects of ideation and provides scope for discussion on go to market strategies for an innovator.
