Abstract
This note acts as supportive conceptual material for classroom discussions on various forms of industrial conflict, especially between organized groups of management and workers. It examines the degree and levels of conflict and also discusses some of the positive functions of conflict. It then poses industrial conflict as a result of the interaction between different social systems. Towards the end, the note discusses an approach to the resolution of conflict.
