Abstract
This note explains the objectives of industrial advertising and points out the differences between consumer advertising and industrial advertising. The basic form of industrial advertising may be a catalogue page, simple reminder, and testimonials, pointing out product differentials -- straightforward prestige or a pioneering approach. Apart from the press and other media, catalogues, films and newsletters play a major role in industrial advertising. Besides increasing sales, corporate image building may also be achieved through a series of industrial advertisements.
