Abstract
This note analyses the process of economic growth and structural change in the Indian economy during the first three decades of planning. It provides detailed information on the trends and structural changes in several macroeconomic variables such as national income, domestic saving , domestic capital formation , aggregate consumpation expenditure sectoral price indices etc.
