Grindlays Bank has a strike for nearly ninety days. Several issues arise as a result of the bank bringing out advertisements favouring its position. Newspaper reports and critical comments are also included in the case. The case can be used as a basis for discussing the role of management, union and public in the resolution of industrial conflict.
