Abstract
The case is based on a project report prepared for the development of the Bhotia tribals (ST) of a rural place in Almora district, U.P. The project involves setting up of a unit, which will procure Rabbits and breed them for wool and make shawls for selling. The principle objective is to generate gainful employment among the rural youths through the cooperative form of organization. The case provides all relevant data on project design and implementation and poses question on its viability and sensitivity to the critical factors. It should serve the purpose of developing skills in project formulation and appraisal.
