The case is about the financing of eucalyptus plantation which has a good scope in Mysore state. An outline of the project was prepared by Agricultural Finance Corporation circulated among the member banks. The Manager, Agricultural Finance Department of a National Bank prepared a note for the Board of Directors and also recommended the participation of the bank. The case is used for long term financing where technique of capital budgeting could be used.
