The case deals with the problems of financing an agricultural input dealer. The main problem that the bank encountered was the sudden non-utilization of the credit limit that was sanctioned to the concerned dealer. With a view to finding out solution to this problem the case provides information relating to (i) appaisal and monitoring methods for operationalizing MF's creidt requirment (ii) profile of the input dealer's business; and (iii) input market and agricultural environment in the concenred taluka.
