This case deals with the methodology for estimating agricultural input distribution credit requirement. It also aims at examining the consistency of the existing credit portfolio for input distribution business and seeks to evolve alternative criterian for existing banking practices particularly in backward areas where PACS are defunct. It further seeks to examine the need for extending refinance facility to commercial banks for input distribution business.
